To stop your file looking blurry or fuzzy we recommend a resolution of 300dpi. The higher the resolution the better the quality. The design studio will let you know if the quality is not good enough.
You can upload in JPG or PNG.
CMYK is the preferred colour mode used for all our printing.
Here at Sonality, we want you to be completely happy with your product and so you will be entitled to a full refund if you are not satisfied with your purchase. However, please remember for any personalised clothing you design is custom made by you. In this instance we cannot guarantee a refund. Please contact our friendly team at firstname.lastname@example.org with your order details if you wish to discuss a refund matter.
If your order is damaged or defective (e.g. due to a printing error) you can, of course, return the products and we will be happy to recreate it for you. If you think your order is damaged, please email us and send photographs of the damage. You’ll then be provided with specific instructions.
Please check your order confirmation email quickly and thoroughly, as sometimes design mistakes do occur. The quicker you inform us, the more likely we can change it before completing your unique garment.

- Double check your design before buying
- Check your email confirmation immediately
We want you to feel confident in the personal fit, style and quality of our products before purchasing from us. Therefore, you can always try on our products and view the finishing styles through our ‘sample’ products. Just order the garment you would like a sample of (in the right size) in the studio, and enter the following text on the garment: “SONALITY SAMPLE”. Please do not insert anything else on the garment. We’ll send you a WHITE sample of that garment in the size you have selected, so you can try it on for fit and quality. If you send it back to us within 7 days, you are entitled to a full refund, including all delivery costs.
We ask you to review your order confirmation email and inform our friendly team at email@example.com as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee you can change your order if production has already begun but, if you’re quick enough, we may be able to amend it in time! We advise that you email us as soon as possible.
Rest assured, all our garments and customisation options are tested thoroughly, so we are confident in their longevity and quality. However, it is natural for a little fading after the first wash, and for clothing to deteriorate over a period of time. Since your Sonality clothing is unique to you, we want it to last as long as possible, so please always refer to the specific care advice contained within each item of clothing. But here are some handy tips we’d also recommend following: :
- Wash inside out at 30°C max.
- No dry cleaning
- No tumble drying
- No bleaching
- Iron inside-out on a medium heat. No steam ironing
No. This is because at Sonality, we truly believe in unique people, wearing individual items. Offering discounts on bulk orders would not be in line with our founding principles!
Not really. Each item of clothing is designed uniquely for you. We don’t print thousands of one particular design and then discount them when they stop selling. We’re very different from most clothing companies! However, we do like to reward our loyal customers and may offer specific discounts from time to time.
If you are given one of our unique discount codes then when you reach the checkout make sure to enter it within the discount field before you place your order.
We accept all major credit and debit cards.
Of course. Order the exact piece of clothing you’re interested in, and the size you want, and purchase this from us with the words “SONALITY SAMPLE” placed onto the garment via ‘add text’. We will then send you that specific garment in WHITE, and also show you the different printing techniques.
We will charge you for the garment but if you return it to us within 7 days we’ll provide a full refund. We’ll send the garment to you with specific instructions on how to send it back to us.
We aim to produce all orders within 3 working days unless you choose the express option, in which case we will produce within 1 working day. Once we have produced your unique order, the estimated delivery times are as follows:
UK: 3-5 days
UK (Express): 2 days
Ireland: 5-7 days
Europe: 5-10 days

We currently only sell to the UK (including the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man and the European Union. Please do not place an order with us if you are from outside these territories as we will have to cancel it. We are working on extending our territories all the time!
If possible, order tracking details will be contained within your email confirmation or you will receive a separate email. For smaller orders within the UK, tracking may not be possible, as we try to make this a convenient postage service and aim to post through your letterbox with Royal Mail.
Wherever possible we will attempt to deliver through your post box. However if the package is too big we will deliver through a courier company which may require your signature.

Yes, there is likely to be some difference. The size of the text and images is usually shown within the design studio and it is worth remembering that these sizes will remain the same, regardless of garment size. The main thing is to go by the design sizes shown in the design studio.
However there may also be some slight differences in the size quoted from the design studio and what is eventually printed due to the printing process.

All our images, fonts and Sonality logos available within the design studio are for your use – go crazy with them and get creative!
However, there are some important house rules. We respect everyone’s uniquity and are especially aware that our clothing will be seen by young people. As such, we have certain personal and legal standards to uphold. We will not accept any designs which break our House Rules.
You also cannot copy a design you have seen elsewhere or use other people’s images without their permission. For full details please refer to the T&Cs
Whilst we want to provide you with freedom of expression, we also respect others’ rights to be their own views too. As a thoughtful company, we will not accept any designs which incorporate the following:
- Swear words (see below)
- Any promotion of any type of hatred or that is offensive to any individual or groups of individual’s sex, sexual orientation, race, religion, membership group, nationality or other characteristics;
- Any material which is obscene, offensive, hateful, pornographic, or inflammatory;
- be likely to deceive any person;
- be made in breach of any legal duty owed to a third party, such as a contractual duty or a duty of confidence;
- be likely to harass, upset, embarrass, alarm or annoy any other person; or
Promotion or glorification of illegal activities including drug use of any kind
We do not allow swear words because we are mindful of young Sonality fans (and others in general!) being exposed to inappropriate content, including swear words. We therefore ask that if you wish to incorporate a swear word into your design, at least 50% of the characters are a symbol of some sort, such as: !£$%*&. If this does not happen, unfortunately we will uphold our standards and reject your design.
Yes – remember you are able to use all of the images and fonts in our library as these are specifically licensed for your use. However, when creating your design or uploading your own images, please adhere to the following rules:
- Do not use logos of existing companies, organisations, charities or sports teams unless you have written confirmation to use these logos
- Do not use pictures off the internet or any other search engine or social media unless you own it
- Pictures of celebrities unless they are available in our library, in which case you are able to use them
- Characters from books, movies, TV etc
- Viral content found on Youtube or other social media platforms
- Quotes from famous people or corporate slogans
Any other trademarked material
In order to use a design (photograph, brand logo etc.) you must have the full rights to the design. If you are not sure, please confirm ownership or ask the rightful owner for usage rights before uploading a design.
By uploading your own design/photo, you are confirming:
(a) You hold the rights to this design.
(b) Sonality will not be responsible for any unlicensed images you upload
(c) I understand that illegal usage of a third party’s protected design is a serious offence and can result in heavy penalties and legal prosecution.
You are – we will take every step to ensure any orders which do not adhere to our House Rules or may infringe copyright are either amended or rejected. However, some may slip through the net and you are ultimately responsible for your design.
We may reject your design if it didn’t adhere to our House Rules or we believe there may be a copyright infringement. (see above) We will explain our reasons in our email to you.
There may be some subtle differences between the shades and sizes shown on the screen. We cannot guarantee the print will be exactly as shown on the screen.
Absolutely. Simply sign in (register if you haven’t already done so) and save. To see any of your saved designs, simply sign back in.
An account can be set up easily and quickly. Once you have set up an account you will be able to;
check out quicker, save your address, track your order as well as monitoring returns. Fill in your details under ‘create an account’ and follow the steps to get registered.
If you have forgotten your password don’t worry, it is easy to reset. Simply follow the instructions on password reset, these can be found within the account login page and ‘forgotten my password’ link.
If you don’t receive your password reset email within an hour make sure to check your spam folder.
Of course. These are our top tips to get the best design possible:
- For single image designs for the centre of the clothing, place the image high and central within the design studio
- Always remember to ‘align centre’ for every central image/text – they will move around as you amend them so ‘align centre’ is the most important button!
- You can match the colour of different text boxes through ‘pick colour’ – this will ensure you always have the same colour consistency
- Think outside the box. Try different styles and printing techniques – this is all about your personal design.
